Some of our Key Initiatives and Achievements

  • International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia: As part of our ED&I Committee’s recognition of this important day, we have shared articles and resources to raise awareness and promote understanding
  • ED&I Committee & Workstream Leads: Our dedicated ED&I Workstream Leads advise on focus areas, provide insights into current affairs, and contribute to policy development to ensure our ED&I initiatives are effective and impactful.
  • Learning & Development: The topic of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) is extensive and holds different meanings for various individuals. Alt HAN Co has created a specialised training module that thoroughly explores the components of ED&I and goes further to cover aspects such as Equity, Belonging, Intersectionality, and more. Completion of this mandatory training is required for all our employees and contractors.
  • ED&I in our Supply Chain: We are now extending our focus beyond internal practices and culture to collaborate with service providers and suppliers who share our commitment to ED&I.

Tackling Inclusivity & Diversity in Energy

Although Alt HAN Co is comparatively small within the Energy sector, each organisation plays a crucial role in fostering inclusivity, diversity, and equal opportunities for everyone. Since 2023, we have been involved in the TIDE initiative and actively support the governance task force group, which establishes frameworks for sub-groups concentrating on various aspects of ED&I.
