On 17 November 2022 the Alt HAN Forum approved the appointment of Joe Mills to the Board of Alt Han Co by a unanimous vote. Joe was nominated by outgoing Board member, Martin Hanley also from OVO Energy.
Joe is Head of Smart Metering at OVO and manages the infrastructure and operations behind the group’s smart metering systems. Joe is responsible for the continuous evolution of smart metering across the OVO group and represents OVO at a senior level with BEIS and Ofgem. Joe joined the OVO team seven years ago having previously worked in technology consultancy roles within the green sector in the UK, Australia and the UAE.
Alt HAN Board members are elected for a term of 2 years.
